Why Test PGT-A + Polyploidy Check?
A good-looking embryo does not always have normal chromosomes. PGT-A helps screen for chromosome number abnormalities in the embryo, while Polyploidy Check is an additional test for abnormalities in the number of chromosome sets – giving the doctor more data to consider before embryo transfer.
Why Is Embryo Chromosome Testing Important?
Even when an embryo looks well-developed under laboratory assessment, its external appearance cannot fully reveal chromosomal abnormalities. Combining PGT-A with Polyploidy Check adds chromosomal data to help the doctor select embryos before transfer.
