The best ICSI clinic in Bangkok is the one that can explain why ICSI fits your diagnosis, provide a written estimate for the whole treatment pathway and show outcomes relevant to patients like you. A low advertised package price or a high headline “success rate” is not enough to make that decision.
This guide compares 10 Bangkok fertility providers using their published service information. Three have identifiable public price references; the others should be contacted for quotations. The guide is published by Genesis Fertility Center (GFC), which appears in the comparison. It is not an independent ranking, accreditation audit or endorsement of any clinic.
| QUICK ANSWER GFC publishes four 2026 ICSI package prices from ฿150,000 to ฿350,000. MedPark lists an IVF/ICSI package at ฿280,000. Bangkok Hospital Headquarter lists IVF packages at ฿335,000 and ฿456,000 for eligible fly-in patients, but ICSI inclusion is not established by that price listing. These offers have different terms: obtain patient-specific written quotes before comparing totals. [2–4] |
ICSI clinics in Bangkok: at-a-glance comparison
This table records publicly visible service differences, not a judgement of clinical quality. “Not verified” means a comparable current package price was not established from the referenced public source; it does not mean the provider has no prices.
| Clinic / Bangkok area | Published service differentiator | Public price reference |
| Genesis Fertility Center (GFC) Rama 9 / Rama 3 | Four named ICSI tiers; named specialist profiles; remote enquiry, PGT-A and freezing [1–2,14] | ฿150,000–฿350,000 (ICSI) |
| Bangkok Hospital Headquarter Bangkok Hospital | Hospital fertility programme; IVF packages with and without published genetic-testing/freezing components [3] | ฿335,000 / ฿456,000 (IVF; confirm ICSI) |
| MedPark Hospital Khlong Toei | Hospital-based IVF/ICSI programme and listed package [4] | ฿280,000 (IVF/ICSI) |
| Jetanin Hospital Chit Lom | IVF/ICSI; genetic testing; PESA/TESE and embryo monitoring [5] | Not verified |
| GenPrime Genea IVF & Genetics CentralWorld / Ratchadamri | IVF/ICSI; PGT-A, PGT-M and Genea-associated technologies [6] | Not verified |
| Gift Fertility Bangkok Sukhumvit | ICSI; sperm retrieval; embryo cryopreservation and genetic testing [7] | Not verified |
| BIC Bangkok IVF Clinic Wang Thonglang | IVF/ICSI laboratory procedures; PGT and blastocyst transfer [8] | Not verified |
| First Fertility PGS Center Asoke | IVF/ICSI; embryo chromosome testing; sperm retrieval and multilingual support [9] | Not verified |
| Takara IVF Bangkok Rama IV / Khlong Toei | IVF/ICSI; time-lapse culture and additional laboratory options [10] | Not verified |
| LRC Fertility Clinic Sathorn | ICSI; embryo culture and EmbryoScope-related equipment [11] | Not verified |
Price and verification note: All amounts are Thai baht and provider-published rather than independently audited. Package availability, service inclusion, medication caps, eligibility and currency of offers must be reconfirmed. Bangkok Hospital’s offer is expressly for fly-in patients and expires 31 December 2026 unless changed earlier. [3]
How we selected and compared these providers
The shortlist combines the Bangkok specialist clinics in the earlier GFC guide with additional named hospital/specialist providers. The source review covered official provider descriptions of IVF/ICSI services, laboratory and genetic-testing options, listed prices and patient arrangements. The order is editorial, not a quality or outcomes ranking. We have not independently verified accreditation, clinician availability, laboratory performance, age-adjusted live-birth results or patient satisfaction.
| A FAIR COMPARISON Ask at least three providers for the same five items: a diagnosis-specific treatment plan; a retrieval-to-transfer quote with exclusions; age- and diagnosis-relevant live-birth figures with denominators; the named treating clinician and embryology arrangements; and a travel, eligibility and follow-up plan. |
Ten Bangkok ICSI providers: what to check

1. Genesis Fertility Center (GFC) — Rama 9 and Rama 3
GFC publishes IVF/ICSI, IUI, egg freezing, frozen embryo transfer, PGT-A and consultation services. Its clearest public pricing distinction is four named ICSI tiers with different age, ovarian reserve, egg-number and medication conditions. GFC also publishes a medical team directory and individual clinician profiles. [1–2,14]
Who is identified? Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pitak Laokirkkiat (Thai medical licence 18494) is identified by GFC as its founder and a reproductive medicine specialist. Dr. Porrawan Tangtham (licence 36023) is also listed as a reproductive medicine specialist. These credentials and roles are provider-published, not independently credential-audited; confirm current doctor allocation and appointments. [14–16]
Ask GFC which package conditions you meet, how costs change if fewer than six eggs are retrieved, which specialist would oversee your care, whether fresh or frozen transfer is included, and whether PGT-A, storage or extra medication will be charged separately.
Compare the GFC 2026 package terms and current clinician profiles before requesting a written estimate.
2. Bangkok Hospital Headquarter — hospital-based IVF
Bangkok Hospital lists IVF Package A at ฿335,000 for ovarian stimulation, egg retrieval and embryo transfer, and Package B at ฿456,000 with published testing/freezing and a thawed-transfer component for two embryos. The English-language offer is described for fly-in patients, valid to 31 December 2026, excluding pre-procedure medical clearance. [3]
Ask whether sperm microinjection (ICSI) is included, which medications are covered, how the package defines a transfer and whether you qualify for the fly-in offer. These are IVF prices, not confirmed complete ICSI quotations.
3. MedPark Hospital — publicly listed IVF/ICSI package
MedPark lists an IVF/ICSI package at ฿280,000. This is useful as a third reference point, but the listing alone does not establish whether an individual patient’s medications, freezing, PGT, storage and any later frozen transfer are included. [4]
Ask for the current itemised package sheet, any add-on fees and the name of the clinician overseeing treatment.
4. Jetanin Hospital — sperm retrieval and embryology options
Jetanin describes IVF/ICSI, preimplantation genetic testing, freezing, PESA/TESE and time-lapse or related laboratory options. These may be relevant when discussing significant male-factor infertility or previous fertilisation failure. [5]
Ask which procedures are indicated, who provides surgical sperm retrieval and what each proposed intervention adds to the bill.
5. GenPrime Genea IVF & Genetics — genetic-testing options
Genea Thailand lists IVF/ICSI, PGT-A, PGT-M, egg freezing and international-patient services. Technology claims and quoted outcomes should be evaluated against patient group, endpoint and cycle denominator rather than compared as headline percentages. [6]
Ask whether genetic counselling and testing are performed in-house or through partners, and how the clinic decides between PGT-A and PGT-M.
6. Gift Fertility Bangkok — male-factor and laboratory services
Gift Fertility Bangkok lists ICSI, blastocyst culture, embryo cryopreservation, genetic testing and sperm retrieval including PESA/TESE. [7]
Ask what is performed routinely versus when clinically indicated, whether partner providers are involved and how quoted costs vary.
7. BIC Bangkok IVF Clinic — IVF/ICSI laboratory procedures
BIC describes IVF/ICSI, embryo culture, blastocyst transfer and genetic-testing-related services. [8]
Request a breakdown of culture, biopsy, embryo freezing, thawing, transfer and monitoring fees, plus the clinic’s outcome definitions.
8. First Fertility PGS Center — chromosome-testing services
First Fertility lists IVF/ICSI, embryo chromosome assessment, transfer, sperm retrieval and egg freezing, alongside multilingual patient communications. “PGS” is older terminology often replaced by “PGT-A”; confirm what a quoted test actually covers. [9]
Ask how pre-travel preparation works, who interprets genetic results and whether counselling and biopsy are separate charges.
9. Takara IVF Bangkok — additional laboratory techniques
Takara publishes IVF/ICSI and laboratory options including time-lapse incubation, rescue ICSI and sperm-selection procedures, plus a Japanese-language contact channel. [10]
Ask for the clinical reason, evidence and extra cost of each proposed technique. A longer list of add-ons is not itself evidence of better live-birth outcomes.
10. LRC Fertility Clinic — embryo culture and monitoring
LRC describes ICSI, embryo culture and laboratory technologies including EmbryoScope. [11]
Confirm the current embryology protocol, whether genetic testing is coordinated externally and the charges for freezing, storage and later transfer.

How much does ICSI cost in Bangkok in 2026?

The practical comparison is the estimated cost of your full recommended pathway—from assessment through the intended embryo transfer—with a separate estimate for possible add-ons or another transfer. Do not compare one provider’s ICSI fee against another’s IVF package as though the components were identical.
GFC’s four published 2026 ICSI tiers
| Package | Published price | Key conditions in public package information |
| ICSI LiTE | ฿150,000 | Age ≤35; AMH ≥1.2 ng/mL; 6+ eggs retrieved; stimulation medication up to 2,400 IU |
| ICSI Gold | ฿170,000 | Age ≤37; AMH ≥1.2 ng/mL; 6+ eggs retrieved; medication up to 3,000 IU |
| ICSI Platinum | ฿230,000 | No published age ceiling; medication allowance up to 4,000 IU |
| ICSI Diamond | ฿350,000 | No published age ceiling; up to 4,000 IU; listed AI embryo-assessment and sperm-selection features |
Published package information also shows a separate ฿40,000 frozen embryo transfer (FET) fee in the Platinum details and lists PGT-A separately. For LiTE/Gold, clarify what happens if egg retrieval falls below six and whether additional sperm-related eligibility applies. Premium laboratory features are not a guarantee of better outcomes for an individual patient. [2,15]
| REQUEST A PATIENT-SPECIFIC GFC QUOTE Ask the clinic to confirm your likely package tier, doctor allocation, medication ceiling, testing rationale, transfer plan and realistic additional charges before paying a deposit. |

The missing-price problem: how to compare three quotes fairly
Only three providers in this guide have directly identifiable public price examples. That is not evidence that the remaining seven are more expensive or cheaper. It means a true like-for-like ranking is not possible from public list prices alone.
| Line item to get in writing | Quote A | Quote B | Quote C |
| Initial consultation, scans and laboratory tests | ____ | ____ | ____ |
| Medication, maximum included dose and monitoring | ____ | ____ | ____ |
| Retrieval, anaesthesia, semen preparation, ICSI | ____ | ____ | ____ |
| Embryo culture and first transfer (fresh/FET) | ____ | ____ | ____ |
| PGT biopsy/testing/counselling if indicated | ____ | ____ | ____ |
| Freezing, storage and further transfer | ____ | ____ | ____ |
| Sperm retrieval or other add-ons if needed | ____ | ____ | ____ |
| Total expected / high-cost scenario | ____ | ____ | ____ |
Include written cancellation, no-egg, failed-fertilisation and no-transfer terms. If a provider cannot quote a line item until after assessment, ask for the rule that determines the price and the range of possible extra charges.

How to interpret IVF and ICSI success rates

“Success rate” may mean fertilisation, a positive pregnancy test, clinical pregnancy or live birth. These are different outcomes, and a fertilisation result does not tell you the chance of taking home a baby. Live birth per transfer can look different from live birth per cycle started because cancelled cycles and cycles without a transferable embryo may be excluded.
Ask each clinic for live births per treatment cycle started or egg retrieval and per embryo transfer; patient age and diagnosis; own versus donor eggs; fresh versus frozen cycles; sample size; reporting period; and any exclusions. The UK HFEA explains why apparent differences between clinics may reflect patient mix or statistical uncertainty. Its UK dataset should not be misrepresented as an audit of Bangkok providers. [13]
| INTERPRET ADVERTISED OUTCOMES CAREFULLY No clinic in this article has been ranked using independent, age-adjusted live-birth statistics. Treat any advertised pregnancy percentage without a defined endpoint, sample and denominator as promotional rather than directly comparable evidence. |
When is ICSI recommended rather than conventional IVF?
ICSI (intracytoplasmic sperm injection) is a fertilisation technique within IVF: an embryologist injects a single sperm into a mature egg. Conventional IVF instead places eggs and sperm together in culture. ICSI may be appropriate for significant male-factor infertility, surgically retrieved sperm, previous poor or failed conventional fertilisation, some PGT-M cases or certain previously frozen eggs. [12]
The American Society for Reproductive Medicine’s 2026 committee opinion states that routinely adding ICSI where there is no male-factor infertility or prior fertilisation failure has not been shown to improve live-birth outcomes. Advanced maternal age, diminished ovarian reserve, a low egg yield, unexplained infertility or PGT-A alone are not general reasons to use it automatically. Treatment decisions must be individualised. [12]
What a typical IVF/ICSI treatment pathway involves
- Assessment: review fertility history, semen findings and the clinical reason to choose IVF or ICSI.
- Ovarian stimulation and monitoring: medication, scans and bloodwork tailored to the patient.
- Egg retrieval and sperm collection: semen sample or surgical retrieval where indicated.
- Laboratory fertilisation and embryo culture: mature eggs fertilised and developing embryos assessed.
- Additional testing or freezing: only if appropriate to the agreed treatment plan.
- Embryo transfer and follow-up: either a fresh transfer or a later frozen transfer, with follow-up testing.

International patients: documents, travel and follow-up
Before booking flights, ask which tests can be undertaken at home, who interprets results, which dates require attendance in Bangkok, whether a remote consultation is available and who deals with complications or follow-up after you return. Treatment can be delayed or changed according to clinical response.
Important GFC eligibility detail: GFC currently states that a marriage certificate is required for ICSI and IUI at its clinic, while egg freezing does not require one. This is the provider’s published statement, not independent legal advice or confirmation of what other Bangkok clinics accept. International patients should check accepted certificate formats, identity and consent documents, translation requirements and their circumstances directly with the treating provider before travel. [17]
| BEFORE YOU TRAVEL Send each shortlisted clinic your treatment history and ask for a written response on eligibility, documents, preliminary testing, expected Bangkok stay, medication access and aftercare. |
Questions to ask before you choose

- Why is ICSI recommended for me rather than conventional IVF?
- Who is my named fertility specialist, and who oversees the embryology laboratory?
- Can you provide age- and diagnosis-relevant live-birth outcomes with sample size and cycle denominator?
- Which clinical procedures or genetic tests are outsourced, and who provides counselling?
- Which charges are included, conditional, dose-capped or billed separately?
- Is single-embryo transfer advised and what are the risks of multiple-embryo transfer?
- What happens financially and clinically if there are no eggs, embryos or transfer?
- What are the eligibility, marriage/documentation, consent and travel requirements?
- Who is responsible for follow-up once I leave Bangkok?
Frequently asked questions
Which is the best ICSI clinic in Bangkok?
There is no defensible single “best” clinic for everyone based on the public data reviewed here. Compare a clinic’s experience with your diagnosis, the clarity of its written quote, clinician access, meaningful outcome reporting and the practicalities of your care.
Is ICSI better than IVF?
ICSI is part of an IVF cycle, not an alternative treatment to IVF. It is particularly useful for some fertilisation problems, but routine ICSI does not improve live-birth outcomes for everyone. [12]
Are PGT-A, freezing and FET included?
Not automatically. Providers set different package boundaries. Ask whether PGT-A, embryo biopsy, storage, thawing and frozen embryo transfer are included or charged separately. PGT-A screens embryos for chromosome-number changes; it does not guarantee pregnancy or replace individual clinical counselling.
Can international patients arrange treatment before arriving?
Initial enquiry or consultation may be possible remotely, but testing, prescriptions, eligibility checks and attendance requirements vary. Secure your personalised written plan before making non-refundable travel arrangements.
Does GFC require a marriage certificate for ICSI?
GFC’s published IVF/ICSI service information states that a marriage certificate is required for ICSI/IUI treatment at GFC; it does not require one for egg freezing. Confirm current requirements and acceptance of foreign-issued documents with GFC directly. [17]
Which clinic has the highest success rate?
The available public data do not support an independently audited comparison. Ask for live-birth outcomes by age, diagnosis and treatment type—not a single unqualified percentage.
Getting an itemised ICSI quote from GFC
If you are comparing fertility clinics in Bangkok, GFC can discuss whether ICSI, conventional IVF or another approach should be assessed with a fertility specialist. Its four published package tiers offer a starting point, but treatment choice, eligibility and final cost depend on your clinical circumstances.
Next step: request a GFC fertility consultation and ask for an itemised retrieval-to-transfer estimate identifying medication limits, testing, freezing, transfer, storage and follow-up. You can also browse the 2026 ICSI package breakdown.
